FUNDED TRAINING

Now in Association with the Job Academy Worx to form the Greenlight Worx Academy
Greenlight has now expanded into partnerships with major colleges in both England & Wales and other learning establishments to deliver NVQ Level 2 in both Rail & Security and forthcoming Apprenticeships. Our ability to deliver these training qualifications is born from the unique partnerships with our Practical Rail Site Partners and our Employer Links enabling the trainees to find employment quickly on completion.
The scope of this framework is in conjunction with the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Network Rail. It follows the City & Guilds NVQ route which also conforms to the NOS.
The advantage of this route is the qualification being for life and the cost can be claimed back making the cost of training / assessment – neutral. 

As part of the framework, a unit containing small plant is delivered, and a unique Greenlight competency card can be generated, thus commercial based training can be funded as part of the competence scheme.
For personnel who move between different labour suppliers we offer a detailed skill scan / training needs analysis (TNA) which identifies needs and records what discipline each individual has covered whilst working upon the infrastructure, this also aids management of future training strategies.
Funding for this is taken care of by us – so you supply the personnel and we do the rest.

Apprentice Training.
We can also offer funded training for 16-19 year olds from our various sites across the UK.
All courses deliver both a weekly wage and various railway qualifications designed to give youngsters a "career starting point" in this industry.
